Book Ad Fontes

You can book Ad Fontes for an event or just a group of you and your friends. Below are all the details you'll need to get started. All bookings are first-come-first-serve, no matter the type of booking.

How bookings work

Ad Fontes is the student pub at HF — open for everyone, and available to book for student-relevant activities.

All bookings are handled on a first-come, first-served basis and must be relevant to the Faculty of Humanities (HF) or the wider UiB community. Personal events can be approved where appropriate, at the discretion of the booking manager.

Wednesdays: There are no event or table reservations after 18:00 due to our regular quiz and other recurring activities.

Fridays: The locale cannot be booked for events after 16:00. We only accept table reservations for the long table and the two adjacent table groups.

We also keep a minimum 2-hour buffer between events to allow for setup and normal bar operations. This does not apply to regular table reservation as they are more flexible, but a table reservation may be declined if it collides with a closed event.

For all bookings, please include your expected start and end time, number of attendees, and whether you need any technical equipment.

Yes! You're very welcome to bring or order food and drinks for your group or event. We do have bowls, plates and cutlery available in the locale.
